So, I hate the word moist. Its like crusty, ooze, secrete, damp, leakage, etc. I'm sure you can notice a theme in the words I dislike. Anyway, I found a quote that helps to explain the grossness of the word moist:

"Moist? What do you mean, 'moist'? 'Moist' is what a fungus likes to grow in. I know a huge amount of people who hate the word moist. Whenever pressed as to why they hate the word, they can't come up with an especially convincing reason. One person believes that the word goes on for far too long, for such a small word. Moissssssst. The word 'moist' is the worst word in the English language."

I so agree.
